Photo post time. It’s cold here. We have snow. My car is iced into its spot and I had to miss work today. It’s been a beautiful day, though, and I’m glad to be home. Here’s the last couple of days in pictures.
When I come home, I typically find Shelly or Ciaran or both waiting for me by the door. This is Wednsday night.
This is Shelly’s meatloaf position. It promotes tenderness, juiciness, and well-being.
Ciaran always tries to snag my attention the moment I come in. This time I caught him short with the novel aroma of new-fallen snow.
This morning was bright, sunny, and covered in snow. We wanted a closer look.
Here’s the view from my balcony. My blinds are staying open today so I can enjoy this.
Shelly took advantage of the open door to experience the snow. He rolled around in it - well on top of it, it’s covered in ice - for about a minute before the cold worked through his fur. This is the moment when the cold shock hit him.
After that, he decided to experience the snow from inside the glass.
Happy Snow Day!

Aww. Your cats are so cute.
Animals and snow are fun(ny). Hershey tries to eat anything that Brian makes out of snow if she’s close enough. Makes for slow progress when you’re building an igloo
